Dewey Group is a leading provider of candidates to the ground and civil engineering industries in the UK and internationally. These candidates represent operatives, project managers, even director-level individuals. Although well-established already, the Dewey Group team came to Inbetween for a rebrand, thanks to our expertise in creating powerful brands that stand out and get noticed.
The Approach
We wanted to reflect the world of recruitment in the ground and civil engineering industries. So for the logo we chose a bold typographic font to echo geotechnical construction. We combined this lead font with a contrasting lighter font weight, conveying Dewey Group’s human, warm and open approach to recruitment.
Next, we chose colours to reflect Dewey Group’s particular area of expertise. We gave Dewey Group a corporate branding palette which takes inspiration from the high visibility safety vests worn by operatives working in construction. These fluorescent orange and fluorescent green colours not only stand out in its sector, they speak of a vibrant and progressive recruitment culture. To further enhance these vivid and immediately recognisable colours, we added grey to the palette, itself representing the colour of concrete.
